Martin J. Fisher (USMC Retired) is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS Economics and a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Command & Staff College. LtCol Fisher served for 26 years in various capacities as a Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator.
Martin is a graduate of the Marine Corps Air Weapons & Tactics (MAWTS-1) school and served as a squadron Weapons and Tactics instructor for advanced aviation mission planning and execution for aviation missions involving manned and unmanned aviation assets. He has served as an aircraft commander on the CH-53D, CH-53E, VH-60N, and VH-3D aircraft; as Officer in Charge of numerous operational aviation detachments, and as a Presidential Aircraft Commander at Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) responsible for the safe and timely transportation of the president and vice president of the United States.
Mr. Fisher is also known extensively for his leadership in the air medical transport field and is a Certified Medical Transport Executive (CMTE). He has held positions as the Lead Pilot and Program Manager for MedCenter Air program, part of the Atrium Health System, and as the Aviation Director for Advocate Health System. His program and leadership involved management of operations throughout the US and International medical transports He is an FAA certificated helicopter and fixed wing pilot, night vision goggle, and flight instrument instructor.
Michael W. Middleton (USMC Retired) was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico is a graduate of Clemson University (BA Language and International Trade (Spanish), and the Naval Postgraduate School (MBA), Monterrey, CA. He was commissioned a U.S. Marine Officer, and completed The Basic School (TBS) for Officer training and Naval flight training in Pensacola, FL and was designated a Naval Aviator (#24271).
Major Middleton served in various capacities and locations during his active duty career in the Marine Corps as a fleet helicopter pilot (CH53D) in support of Fleet Marine Forces (FMF) operations globally. He also served as a Forward Air Controller/Air Officer with 1st Battalion, 3d Marines; a fixed wing Naval Flight Instructor with Naval Flight Training Squadron Two (VT 2); Defense System Analyst & Acquisition Officer at Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM); and as a Command Pilot qualified in VH-3D, VH-60N, CH-53E, and CH 46E aircraft and Director White House Liaison Office (DirWHLO) for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) responsible for worldwide rotary wing transport of the President and Vice President of the United States. He is also a qualified U.S. Navy SCUBA Diver and holds civilian certification as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) airplane multiengine, Commercial & Instrument Rotorcraft Helicopter, and Certificated Flight and Instrument (CFI/CFII) airplane instructor.
After retiring from the Marine Corps Michael has continued his endeavors in aviation through the planning design & specifications of rooftop and ground based helipads; creation and implementation of aviation operations, infrastructure and safety programs; the advancement of technology for vertical aviation and infrastructure, and as CEO of SafeHelipad Software Systems. He remains an active commercial pilot.
Drew Kenning is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of HoverSafe, where he leads strategic growth, investment, and partnership efforts focused on landing zones and air rights for the future of advanced aviation. With a background spanning real estate development, capital markets, and emerging technology, Drew brings experience across large-scale infrastructure and investment initiatives. Previously, Drew served as Managing Director at Knapp Capital Management (KCM), supporting multi-billion-dollar development initiatives across the United States. Prior to KCM, he founded Manor Straits, an international real estate investment platform connecting global capital to off-market opportunities, which was later acquired by KCM. Earlier in his career, he managed major development projects with JDL Development in Chicago, contributing to the delivery of more than 800 residential units. Drew studied Finance and Economics at the University of Denver and Real Estate at Harvard University, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective at the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, capital formation, and next-generation air rights.
